Woodland Birthday Parties
Bushcraft, Den building, Fairies and Wizards, Unicorns, or talk to Laura about your own idea!
Laura can creatively weave in your favorite book, animal or games to come up with something new or choose from some well loved woodland party ideas below.
All parties include a woodland craft, themed games, cook a small healthy snack over the fire, then sing Happy Birthday round the fire at the end.
Rates:
2 hour parties £15 per child
3 hour parties £20 per child
Parties are subject to a £50 non refundable deposit no later than 2 weeks before the party date
For more elaborate or longer parties an additional cost will be charged
Important information:
Parties can have a maximum of 20 children and minimum 8
Suggested times - 10am - 12pm, 1pm- 3pm or 2pm- 4pm
Woodland site near Horam - Dernwood Farm Campsite or a site near you and we can come to your own woodland/ garden or wild space
Other information:
Full payment to be made before the party date
At least 2 adults per 10 children should accompany the party in addition to the party leader.
Parties can take place in most weather, with the exception of high winds and severe weather warnings.
The site and activities are risk assessed and all staff hold current DBS checks.
You may bring food and drink with you should you wish your party to be catered for, a small snack cooked over the fire is included in the price.
A tarp/shelter will be put up in wet weather
Parties are suitable for aged 5+
Dietary requirements can be catered for
Medical/Allergy/Emergency information will be taken once the booking is confirmed
Bushcraft and Den building
Follow the trail and collect as many tiny natural objects in your matchbox
All help light the fire
Use wood debris to make a mini shelter or one you can all fit in!
Play woodland games all together
Peel a stick using a tool, cook wild bread over the fire
Fairies and wizards
Help to find the missing buttercup fairy, completing the tasks along the way, make a wand, make a potion, make a spell and make pancakes...will they all work?!
Play woodland games
Sing Happy Birthday round the fire at the end
Unicorn of the woods
Follow the trail to discover a treasure. Collect special unicorn main to use in a magical craft. Play unicorn games. Cook a snack over the fire. Have a unicorn story around the fire at the end.
Camouflage and Bows
Make your own bow and arrow from local Hazel green wood, learn to shoot your bow safely, make and use natural camouflage to hide from your friends!
The Great Bugs and Mini beast bonanza party
Go on a bug hunt, make your own clay bug, play bug themed games.
Woodland Gnomes and potions
Have you ever wanted to make your own magic potion? Make a woodland gnome out of wood and take them on a journey to meet magical beings that live in the woods, complete the tasks along the way and collect the ingredients for a magic potion to make and take home.
